OPEN CIRCUIT

Your event should not feel like a flyer trapped in a browser. OPEN CIRCUIT turns a schedule into a living site that counts down, goes live, and becomes an archive — and an organiser runs all of it without touching code.

Demo event shown is OPEN CIRCUIT at the Port of Los Angeles — starter content, not your event

The OPEN CIRCUIT Control Room: a no-code editor with Identity, Visual, Programme, Tickets and Info tabs beside a live preview of the public site.

On a phone — where people actually read a schedule

Three states

One site, the whole event lifecycle.

Most event sites are built once for the announcement and then quietly go stale. This one is designed to change three times, on purpose, from a single switch.

Before

Countdown to doors, announcement ticker, and pass calls to action. The clock runs off your real local start time at the venue.

Live now

Live transmission language and straight-into-the-schedule navigation, for people standing in the room with a phone in their hand.

Archive

Replay language and a programme-first experience after the event, so the site keeps earning its domain instead of 404ing.

It never guesses.

The state changes when the organiser says so, not when a clock rolls over. An event that starts late, runs long or gets cancelled is a normal Tuesday, and the site should not contradict the people running it.

What makes it smart

Built for someone standing in a crowd.

    Programme

  • Multi-day schedule with day tabs, venue and format filtering
  • Programme detail views generated from the same managed content
  • Featured transmissions promoted into a large lineup index
  • Up to 100 programme items in this edition
  • For the visitor

  • A personal schedule saved privately on their own device
  • Calendar download, so their route leaves with them
  • Pass availability states wired to your ticket provider
  • Responsive throughout, and reduced-motion settings are respected
  • For the organiser

  • Protected Control Room at /control, database-backed
  • JSON export and import for backups and recurring editions
  • First-owner claim, so a stranger cannot publish over you
  • Visual controls for colour, rhythm, corners and motion
It does not sell the tickets.

OPEN CIRCUIT never touches a card. It links to the checkout you already use — Eventbrite, DICE, Humanitix, Tixr, Luma or anything else with a safe public URL — and shows the availability state you set. Your provider account, fees, refunds, taxes, ticket delivery and door check-in stay exactly where they are.

Make it yours

A Control Room, not a CMS you fight.

Everything a working event needs to change in the week before doors is a field, not a deploy. Change it, watch the live preview, then publish.

    Identity

  • Event name, programme eyebrow and public description
  • Date display, start and end time, and the countdown they drive
  • Location, coordinates, map link and announcement ticker
  • Visual system

  • Signal — the main accent colour
  • Field — the programme and lineup colour
  • Heat — the venue experience section
  • Paper and Ink — light and dark surfaces
  • Section rhythm, corner system and motion
  • Programme and passes

  • Add, duplicate and remove transmissions
  • Day, times, title, space, format, note and description
  • Pass name, displayed price, details, availability and checkout URL
  • Partners and FAQ as plain text
Unsaved work stays in your browser until you publish.

Import stages a configuration for review rather than pushing it live, and export gives you a JSON backup before a major change or a live day. The file holds your public site configuration — never credentials, never attendee data.

Cancelling Care does not switch off your site.

The Connected code stays licensed to you permanently. What ends when Care ends is the service: Portal access, monitoring, reporting and managed updates. HYPHR.js stays dormant without a valid site key, and your event site keeps running exactly as it did.

Requirements

What it runs on, and what it does not.

This one needs a real installation.

OPEN CIRCUIT is not a file you upload in an admin screen. It is an application: a Cloudflare Worker with a D1 database behind it. Setting it up once is a developer job — after that, running the event needs no code at all. If you would rather not do that part, take Connected + HYPHR Care and we do it for you.

PlatformCustom / Cloudflare Workers. React front end, a Cloudflare-compatible Worker, and D1 for published configuration.
You needNode.js 22.13 or newer, and a Cloudflare account that can create a Worker and a D1 database. Plus a domain.
Control Room sign-inSign in with ChatGPT. The first person to publish claims the owner record, so nobody can publish over you later.
Not includedPayment processing, an attendee database, and any replacement for Eventbrite, DICE or your ticket provider.
Not compatibleShopify, Wix Studio, Webflow and WordPress. Those use different editors, runtimes and data systems.
Why we will not claim it installs everywhere.

The visual system and the content model could be carried to another platform, but this archive cannot honestly be installed on one. A Shopify theme is Liquid. Wix Studio has its own editor and APIs. We will sell a native edition for those when it has been built and tested there, and not before.

Versions

What changed.

  • 1.0.0 9 September 2026

First Custom / Cloudflare Workers release. State-aware event site with Before, Live and Archive modes. Multi-day schedule filters, personal schedule saving and calendar export. Programme detail dialogs and pass inventory states. Venue, access, arrival, partners and FAQ systems. Protected, database-backed no-code Control Room with configuration import and export and first-owner claim protection. Standard and Connected + HYPHR Care packaging, with the optional privacy-first HYPHR.js connection in Connected.

You keep the version you bought.

Your download link stays pinned to the version you paid for, so an update can never remove something you built on. When a new version ships we will tell you what changed and what it costs, if anything.

Licence

What you may do with it.

The full terms ship inside your download as a personalised file. This is the plain-language version, and it is the same one.

    Yes

  • Use it on one active production site you own or control
  • Customise it as much as you like, in the Control Room or in the code
  • Run it commercially and sell passes through it
  • Have employees or contractors edit it for that site
  • Move it to a replacement domain you own, after removing it from the old one
  • Keep using it permanently — the licence does not expire
  • No

  • Resell, share, publish or redistribute the source, docs or starter assets
  • Run one purchase across several live sites at once
  • Put the source in a public repository
  • Present the OPEN CIRCUIT system as your own template product
  • Use one licence across multiple client sites — client work needs one each
You own your event; we own the system.

Your brand, programme, copy, attendee relationships and uploaded assets are yours. HYPHR keeps the reusable OPEN CIRCUIT system, its documentation, its marks and the starter assets. OPEN CIRCUIT is sold to more than one buyer and is not one-of-one unless a separate signed exclusivity agreement says so.

Support

A person reads it.

Questions before you buy, or something not behaving after you have installed it — either way, email us and quote your licence ID if you have one.
